Two students were wounded by gunfire in a high school parking lot, and police were searching a man seen driving from the area. The injured teens’ wounds did not appear to be life-threatening. “It appears to be a road rage incident,” police Officer Jose Montoya said of the shooting, reported just before 6:30 a.m. at Western High School. “It’s not school-related or gang-related.” A teenage student in a car was wounded in the ankle and a female student was wounded in the abdomen by bullet shrapnel as she happened to be walking through the parking lot before classes.
