Police officer shot a 17-year-old sophomore just before noon after the student clubbed the officer on the head with a baseball bat. After the officer fell to the ground, he reached for his gun but the clip fell out. The student then came at him a second time. The officer grabbed a second weapon from his ankle holster and shot the teen to death.
