A 21-year-old Cambridge man died after being shot at the entrance of a Harvard University residence hall (J-entryway of Kirkland House). He had been linked to drug sales to Harvard students. Authorities did not believe that Harvard students were involved in the shooting. The victim was a Salem State College student, but he lived with his mother in Cambridge just a few blocks from the Harvard campus. The alleged gunman, Jabrai Jordan Copney, 21, was a song writer from New York and had been dating a Harvard senior for two years. Learn More (boston.com)
